Juara Lagu 1997 - Aku Cinta PadaMu
She became widely recognised since that. That was 10 years ago!!
Andai engkau ku miliki
Terdahulu sebelumnya
Andaikan curah rasa hati
Mungkin kini ku kan tenang di sampingmu
Belum puasku menikmati
Kesan kasih sayang kau terpaksa pergi
Inginku terus dicintai
Walau bisikanmu azimat berduri
Bila cinta berbunga
Jadi airmata dijariku
Betapaku cinta padamu
Katakanlah kau cinta padaku
Sematkanlahku di hatimu
Walau di mana berada
Ingatku dalam doamu
Hiasilah hati
Dengan cinta suci
Selamanya
Solo (repeat 1)
Gemerlapan jiwa
Semikanlah cita
Semoga kau dan aku
Akhirnya bersama
Akukan menunggu
Walaupun seribu tahun lagi

Akim Camara - five-year-old violinist
Berlin - Mozart began at four. Akim Camara was only two, when he got his first violin lesson in the Music School of Marzahn-Hellersdorf. Today this "miracle" child is five years old and also the youngest student of the Music College of "Hanns Eisler" in center.
Birgit Thiele still can remember exactly, in May 2003 how Akim stood in front of her with his plastic violin toy. What the violin teacher has experienced, has impressed her. "Akim couldn't speak correctly yet, however he knew how to play all of the orchestral instruments. In addition it is absolutely through listening." Birgit Thiele taught this little kid twice a week and each time three-quarter hour. "With an enthusiasm Akim learned unbelievably fast." In December, this two-year one played at the Christmas concert in the Music School “Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen” - appearing with diapers and pacifier.
Akim's large model is André Rieu. One day, Birgit Thiele and the music head mistress wrote to the violin star a letter. He replied promptly and invited Akim to Holland. Gudrun Mueller: “Both of them played there together and later also in the "forest stage" of Berlin.”
Nevertheless Akim a cheerful, small boy, who goes to the day-care centre, and dreaming of swarming for Gummibärchen (a kind of sweet with bear shape) and elephants. Akim likes to play his violin or piano, which is the second instrument he learns, the most. Exactly the same like young Mozart at that time.

Probably the most famous erotic french song
Originally written by French pop music legend Serge Gainsbourg in 1967 in response to a request from Brigitte Bardot to write 'the most romantic song that [Gainsbourg] could imagine', 'Je T'aime (Moi Non Plus)' went on to become a worldwide hit and create considerable scandal.
Although Gainsbourg did record the song with Bardot in 1968, she considered it too outrageous and refused to let their version be released1. It was not until the following year that he recorded the now infamous version that BBC radio, among many others, would ban from their playlists. In the intervening period he had split with Bardot and begun a relationship with young British actress Jane Birkin2, who he had met when they worked together on the film Slogan. In November he recorded a number of tracks with her and the record was released early in 1969.
Released at the peak of the sexual revolution of the swinging sixties, the song is a kind of conversation between two lovers as they do what lovers do and gradually bring one another towards a climax. It opens with Birkin moaning sensuously and whispering, 'Je t'aime'3, to which Gainsbourg rather cryptically replies, 'Moi non plus!'4 After further sensuous groaning from Jane B, he then croons 'Je vais et je viens, entre tes reins'5, 'et je, me re-tiens!' 6. As the song/lovemaking goes on, he describes himself as, 'la vague irresolue' 7, while later she identifies herself as 'l'ile nue' 8. After a final bout of still more intense groaning, the climax comes as Birkin breathlessly beckons (when Serge says again that he is holding himself back), 'Non! Maintenant - viens! 9 Yes, it's racy stuff all right!
In August, at the height of the 'Summer of Love' the risqué moan-a-thon hit number one in the UK charts and had similar success in other European countries. The erotic 'panting' caused moral indignation, particularly in Italy and Catholic circles generally. Perhaps unsurprisingly in those heady days of hippy permissiveness and promiscuity, this did nothing to reduce (indeed, may well have increased) sales and following a second pressing, sales in France topped the million mark. When the official Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore, denounced the song as obscene, though, it was banned from radio or television across Italy and in September other countries including Sweden, Spain and the UK followed Italy's lead. But the horse had already bolted; the record continued to sell all over Europe.
Interestingly, the single's progress to the number one spot in the British charts seems to have been helped rather than hindered by the moral outcry. It was originally released in Britain on the Fontana label, but after it reached number two Fontana withdrew the record from sale, presumably in response to all the scandal surrounding it. Gainsbourg hurriedly struck a deal with a leading independent label of the day, Major Minor, and 'Je T'Aime' was quickly re-issued - whereupon the demand caused by its temporary unavailability took it straight to number one.
It has always been difficult for any French song to break through the one-way musical language-barrier that is The Channel. The massive French hit of the 1950s 'Comme d'habitude' was only successful in America and the UK when given new lyrics and an English-speaking singer - you might have heard the result, known to millions of English-speakers as 'My Way'... Anyway, the very same year that 'Je T'Aime...' was originally released, there was already a second version of the tune in the UK Top 40, credited to Sounds Nice featuring Tim Mycroft. But 'tune' really is the operative word here; entirely instrumental and with the title changed to 'Love At First Sight (Je T'Aime Moi Non Plus)', it peaked at number 18 in the UK chart. Later, British reggae act Judge Dread reached number nine in the UK chart in 1975 with a rather silly comedy version, which was not nearly as silly as Frankie Howerd's take on it. More recently Misty Oldland took the instrumental track as the basis of her funky soul number 'A Fair Affair (Je T'aime)' in 1994, with some chart success. Perhaps the most unlikely version is from Mick Harvey (better known as the guitarist with semi-goth rock combo The Bad Seeds10), who as a solo artist released not one but two LPs of Gainsbourg covers, the second of which, Pink Elephants, included 'I Love You... Nor do I', with Anita Lane in the Birkin role.
Something of an anglophile, Gainsbourg may have been disappointed to think that 'Je T'aime (Moi Non Plus)' was probably the only one of his songs that ever achieved widespread recognition among English-speakers - and perhaps somewhat exasperated that most would be hard-pressed to put a name to it, still less name the artist. Nonetheless, the sound of the first few bars, surely the Wurlitzer organ's most erotic moment, made their mark on the musical landscape and will long be associated with the free sexuality of the sixties and seventies.
1 It was finally released on a Bardot compilation LP in the mid-eighties

Je t'aime, je t'aime
oh, oui je t'aime!

oh, mon amour...

oh, oui je t'aime!

tu es la vague, moi l'île nue
tu va, tu va et tu viens

tu vas et tu viens
entre mes reins

English version by nick cave.
I love you, I love you, Oh yes I love you
Nor do I
Oh my love
Like the wave, irresolute
I go, I go and I come, Inside you my love
I go and I come, Inside you my love
And then I hold on
I love you, I love you, Oh Yes I love you
Nor do I
You are the wave, And I the naked island
You go, you go and you come, inside me me love
you go and you come inside me my love
and then we are one
I love you, I love you, Oh yes I love you
Nor do I
Oh my love
Like the wave, irresolute
I go, i go and I come, Inside you my love
I go and I come, Inside you my love
And then I hold on
I love, I love you my love, Inside me my love
I love you my love, Deep inside me my love
And then we are one
I love you, I love you, Oh yes I love
Nor do I
Oh my love
Physical love is a dead end
I go, I go and I come, Inside you my love
I go and I come
And I hold on
No. Now...come
There are lots of interesting little facts concernings this song. As for its meaning, this is what Serge himself once said:
"I love women as an object, the beautiful women, the mannequins, the models. This is the inner painter in me. I never tell them I love them. Je t'aime... moi non plus (I love you... me neither) expresses erotism overcoming sentimentalism… So many songs about romantic and sentimental love, encounters, discoveries, jealousy, illusions, desillusions, betrayals, remorses, hatred, etc... Then why not devote a song to a sort of love much more current these days: physical love? "Je t'aime" isn't an obscene song, it's very reasonable to me, and fills this gap. Its explanation is that girls say "I love you" during sex, and the man with their ridiculous virility doesn't believe them. They think the girls only say it as a result of enjoyment, of pleasure. I guess I believe the girls, or maybe that's a result of my fear. But that's also an aesthetic step, a search of absoluteness"
Everything's fair in love and the search for absoluteness.
Now for the interesting little facts. This song was released in 1968. It was originally intended that Brigitte Bardot do the female part, but when she backed out Jane Birkin, Serge's future lover and mother of his daughter Charlotte, stepped in. You might remember Jane Birkin as the blond girl who got naked in Antonioni's "Blow-Up". The song received strong criticism for its language and the suggestive panting and moaning, particularly from the Vatican which condemned it in its official newspaper. The song was banned from radio and television in many countries including Italy, UK, Spain and the otherwise so liberal Sweden. This didn't stop it from reaching no. 1 in the charts in the UK and other European countries, pretty spectacular for a song in French. In the US the song made no. 69(!) in the charts.

Wong Meng Chee/ Namewee
Wong Meng Chee/ Namewee is Malaysian, studying now in Taiwan. Not long ago he started to become famous in internet with his song 《The Chinese in Muar》.
Although in this song has quite a lot of dirty words, he didn't really criticise anyone. The song feels kind of gallant, that's why it's so popular.
Actually he had done a short movie to introduce Muar, but it's not as popular as this rap song.
After that, he just simply write a song called 《My Friend》。
This song have a few languages inside, and a lot of sarcastic stuff. Use Cantonese to blame people from Kuala Lumpur, use Chinese to criticise, use Malay to scold Malays. After everything he uses English to round his thing, and actually all of these is just misunderstanding.
Whereas this song 《Negarakuku》 catched the concern of the whole country. Malaysia government is going to sue him, editing National Anthem, slander Islam, and may use Extradition to ask him back. From my point of view, he didn't really edit National Athem but just joining it with his own song, maybe sue him on simply joining National Anthem will be better. Slander Islam? No way! It's just insulting someone's singing like a cock, that's all. Extradition? Isn't it too serious for this case?
After that, he apologised. No other reason, just because his father wants to end this issue as soon as possible and believe what MCA said, ask him to apologise.
But Malaysia government doesn't accept his apologise, insist to sue him. He get fedup, and got company help him to release this album 《King of DaoBan(Pirated)》。
After that, one of his supporters puts this song《Negarakukuku》。And no further news from Malaysia government, don't know whether they feel shame as our National Anthem is also copying from other song 《Mamula moon》。
Actually in my opinion, Namewee loves our country, but just doesn't like the government (they are different!). After watching this video of his, i really like what he wrote in the end: "If one nation can be prosperous and safe, why do we still need democracy?".

Reactogon interactive sequencer reminds me of star trek
I recently came across this rather cool user interface for a music sequencer called the ReactOgon. Looking like something you’d find on the deck of the Starship Enterprise, the instrument uses a large tabletop multi-touch interface to create music sequences in real time.
The creators of the ReactOgon call it a “chain reactive performance arpeggiator”, which dynamically shifts its patterns and sequences based on coded discs placed on the flat-panel interface.
Each hexagonal cell on the surface represents a fixed note on the harmonic table. The placement of the discs influences the whether or not a note is played, as well as its placement in the sequence. By stringing together a number of directional discs, an entire musical sequence can be created. Special discs can also initiate multiple sequences, for more complex patterns. A bank of touch-sensitive sliders are then used to change volume, timbre and rhythm of the notes.
There’s no word on if or when the developers of this technology plan on commercializing the concept.
